Product Description Pinarello developed the FP2 Road Bike to give riders a seriously plush, quick, and fast feel without forcing them to go to carbon. The extra helping of durability makes this high-performance aluminum ride a great choice as an every-day bike instead of having something that gathers dust until race day. Pinarello hooks you up with Ultegra components and a carbon fork to keep weight down while increasing performance.

| Customer Reviews: Beautiful and sexy italian road bike for under $2k!!!! August 9, 2009 christopher 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this bike because I had to replace my Klein Quantum (I was hit by a car). I have 3 rides on the Pinarello FP2, and I'm already in love.
I have been riding and racing bikes for over a 17 years. I was an expert class mtn bike racer and have since moved onto the world of triathlons. Having said that, I know a thing or two about bikes, and have ridden and raced on many of them.
This bike, first and foremost is absolutely gorgeous. You will be hard pressed to find a sexier bike than Pinarello. It also has the Pinarello pedigree.. not sure what more you could ask for..
This is one fast bike. It rides a little rougher than my Klein, but it also picks up and accelerates quicker and with a little more ease. Another thing, the wheelbase is 2" shorter, creating a cornering animal! This bike is quick and agile.
I switched out the Shimano R500 wheels that came stock on it with a pair of Easton EA90TT's ($850.00). The combo is amazing to say the least. And I saved over 400 grams of rotating weight.
The Pinarello's house brand MOST components seem to be nice. They have a great finish and seem like they will last and work well. My only complaint is the drop in the bars don't reach back far enough for my preference. Not a product limitation, just my own riding style doesn't work well with these bars. I will also probably purchase a carbon seat post to help with road vibrations.
Consider this: A full Ultegra bike with carbon stays and full carbon fork for under $2K!!!! What an unbelievable deal!! Yes the frame is produced in Tawain, but it's still a TRIPLE butted 6061 T6 frame with carbon stays and an exact geometric replica of their top end road bikes (selling for up to $12K).
I would recommend this bike to anyone in a heart beat. My particular FP2 is a 58". I am 603 and this frame fits me nicely. Please see my attached pictures above.
